According to the report India ranks 78th out of the selected 93 countries in terms of human talent competitiveness. Switzerland topped the list.

Chandrapur (Maharashtra) becomes a 'dry district'. The district is the third one in the state to ban liquor. Wardha and Gadchiroli were earlier declared as 'dry districts' by the state government. Henceforth, all alcohol permits will be shifted to the other non-dry districts.
