Rebels in Yemen to reach a deal with their President Mansour Haadi. The agreement between the President Mansour Haadi and the rebels will give the rebel Houthi Movement more say in the country's affairs. The agreement was settled in exchange of Houthis leaving the house of the President Abed Rabbu Mansour Haadi.

PM launches Sukanya Samridhi Yojana. Under the BBBP (Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao) campaign, Narender Modi launched the Sukanya Samridhi Yojana. The parents can open an account for their girl child, who is less than or of 10 years of age, with a deposit of Rs. 1000 on an interest of 9.1%. They shall also enjoy Tax rebates. However, a maximum of Rs. 1.5 lakhs can be deposited in a financial year, under the scheme.
